The Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation and honored guests celebrated with a reception this evening at F&M Bank during the First Thursday Art Walk for the revealing of “The Legacy Art Collection of Public Schools”. This project was initiated by the Education Foundation Board not only to generate support for its endowment fund, but also to provide CMCSS alumni and graduating seniors’ access to artwork that reflects pride in their high schools.
Local artist Lynne Waters Griffey was commissioned by the Foundation to create 7 original watercolor renderings of our high schools because of her connection to education and passion for working with non-profits. Each print purchased will benefit the Count Me In Endowment campaign which will help to sustain the work of the Foundation for years to come. The first 18×24 Limited Edition Giclee prints (6-50) currently are available for purchase and can be picked up from the Foundation office at 621 Gracey Avenue. Smaller prints will be made available to graduating seniors. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more ordering details or visit the Foundation website at: www.cmcss.net/education
